House of St Barnabas joins Own Art

1 March 2017

We are delighted to welcome The House of St Barnabas to our network of member galleries. The wonderful artworks on show at the House are now available to purchase using an Own Art loan of up to £25,000.

The House of St Barnabas is a charity pledging to break the cycle of homelessness and social exclusion in London. They run a social enterprise: a not-for-profit members’ club, to help people back into lasting paid work.

The Collective, their contemporary art programme, consists of rotating exhibitions and a permanent collection. Through The House of St Barnabas’ spirit of collaboration and commitment to nurturing talent, artists, galleries and curators are invited to donate or loan works to the club.

They show a range of work, currently including pieces by Damien Hirst, The Chapman Brothers, Tracey Emin, Roxy Walsh and Tom Gallant. Proceeds from art sales go towards supporting the work of their Employment Academy and creating a fairer London.
