Within her depiction of the landscape through etching, drawing and watercolour; Jo Barry seeks to portray her feelings towards places, rather than what she describes as simply “portraits of views”. Her work evokes a hugely poetic element, evident in the title sequences of every piece.

Jo studied and graduated at Ravensbourne College of Art, later moving to the New Forest where she continues to live and work.

She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers and has regularly shown work at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition.
