Imprint Exhibition

The three artists within this exhibition have, in very different ways, imprinted their passions and personalities into their work. Reflecting everything from inner turmoil and rage to overwhelming joy and contentment. From humble media they depict lives of great passions and great tragedies; imagining a world that exceeds the mundane reality of the everyday.

Jake Quinlan’s practice revolves around the ideology and philosophy of the working-class anarchistic mindset of punk music.

After an incurable diagnosis, Gary Turner began creating surrealist stoneware sculptures with expressive faces that reflect the myriad of emotions he has been experiencing while making.

The contemporary nautical folk art monoprints of Jonty Storey reflects his life spent at sea as a surfer and as an RNLI crew member.

Expect bold, energetic and expressive paintings, ceramics and prints.
