Phil Greenwood has exhibited extensively both nationally and internationally: including the Royal Academy, Bankside Gallery and the Victoria and Albert Museum.
Greenwood depicts landscapes in atmospheric detail, but with considerable economy. Using only two or three colours he achieves a great range of tone and colour by overprinting and fusing one colour with another. Working from an amalgamation of ideas recalled, his images do not depict a particular place, yet they look strangely familiar.
Exhibition opening with the artist Saturday 21 March 12.30pm
Join Phil for an informal discussion about these wonderfully tranquil prints, showcasing his imagined landscapes from all year around.
