Samson Tudor – Spring Showcase

Samson Tudor presents a series of original paintings, drawing and mixed media artworks that explore the current socio-political climate, investigating themes of uncertainty, division and melancholy. The imagery is underpinned by an interpretation of the concept ‘the world as a stage’- using imagery and allegories of theatre; that allude to notions of the Carnivalesque.

Samson's bold and impactful figurative work first grabbed our attention as part of our Contemporary Young Artist Award in 2019. Four years later his practice goes from strength to strength, with his work demonstrating a burgeoning confidence.
