Exhibited for the first time, Sofia Mitsola’s miniatures are shown in conversation with 33 key historic miniatures from The Portland Collection. Portraits of Queen Elizabeth I by Nicholas Hilliard, Eleonara di Toledo by Giulio Clovio, as well as portraits by Louis XIV, Cardinal Mazarin, Queen Marie Antoinette and the Empress Joséphine.
