Own Art Partners with London Art Fair to Champion Inclusive Collecting
London Art Fair (LAF) returns to the Business Design Centre in January 2026, and we’re thrilled to partner with them once again to make owning art more accessible than ever.
This meaningful partnership stems from our shared commitment to widening access to art, nurturing a more diverse and dynamic art market, and supporting the creative livelihoods of artists across the UK.

Own Art plays a crucial role in widening access to art ownership, striving to make the experience of collecting more inclusive, attainable, and welcoming for all. Through its interest-free loans, which help people to bring home original artwork, Own Art fosters a more diverse community of collectors—closely aligning with the Fair’s mission to cultivate meaningful connections between audiences, artists, and the broader cultural landscape.
Several Own Art member galleries will be exhibiting at LAF 2026, allowing you to spread the cost of any eligible artwork on their respective stands.

Our shared ethos underpins LAF’s 2026 programme, bringing together curated Modern and Contemporary showcases alongside discussions that explore the many ways people engage with art today. This year’s Museum Partnership with the National Trust will feature highlights from its collection of 20th-century modern art and architecture, celebrating the enduring legacy of these works preserved under the charity’s care.

Elsewhere, Encounters presents a dynamic, curated selection of contemporary galleries whose artists are pushing the boundaries of their practice. Through bold installations, experimental presentations, and fresh perspectives, this section encourages visitors to engage with work that reflects the immediacy and energy of today’s artistic landscape.
Complementing this is Platform, guest-curated by Dr Ferren Gipson, which explores the theme ‘The Unexpected’, bringing together artists who challenge conventions in material, process, and form in their work. Whether utilising materials in imaginative ways or incorporating innovative methods, these artists disrupt familiar boundaries to expand what materials can represent and do within their practice.
The Fair’s Talks and Tours Programme, curated by Hannah Payne, further enriches this atmosphere of discovery. By bringing together artists, curators, collectors, and cultural leaders, the programme offers thoughtful discussion on topics ranging from the shifting dynamics of the art market to the personal pathways that shape collecting. These conversations invite visitors to deepen their engagement with art, empowering both seasoned collectors and those at the beginning of their journey.
