The John Davies Gallery

Included in Country Life magazine's selection of the 'best regional art galleries in Britain’ 2023, John Davies Gallery has been one of the Cotswolds’ flagships for modern and contemporary art for over 40 years.

First established in Stow-on-the-Wold in 1977, the gallery moved to a former United Dairies pasteurisation plant, just off Moreton-in-Marsh High Street in 2008. In this 3000 sq ft ex-industrial space, John Davies curates an acclaimed exhibition programme with a focus on excellence in painting and its presentation.

In addition to the curated exhibitions, the gallery has a steady throughput of 1950's and 1960's Modern British and earlier paintings with first-rate provenance and originality for the private buyer and collector alike.
