In her nature by Lyn Hodnett

In Her Nature is an exciting new exhibition by Lyn Hodnett, bringing together a body of work that reflects her enduring engagement with myth, folklore, identity, and the natural world. A British painter and printmaker based in Sheffield and North Wales, Hodnett’s practice has long been rooted in evocative portrayals of women and archetypal figures, often depicted through richly symbolic imagery drawn from birds, animals and plants. Her dynamic, narrative-driven approach blends vibrant colour, humour and depth, inviting viewers into a world where the human and the natural are inseparable.

Encounters by Alison Edmonds

Alison Edmonds is a Fine Artist with a studio situated in Bates Mill, close to Huddersfield town centre. She studied Fine Art at Psalter Lane, Sheffield.  Working predominantly in oil paint on canvas she produces richly coloured paintings which are the contemplation of movement from one place to another and the possibility of what could happen in the space between.
