Established in 1991 Cupola remains one of the most respected contemporary galleries for the sale and exhibition of contemporary art & craft in the North of England. The gallery is comprised of 4 gallery spaces and an award winning sculpture garden. We host approximately 10 temporary themed or solo shows per year alongside a constantly evolving stock of work from around 300 different artists and makers.
We are a very friendly and accessible space where children are always welcome. Free cake every Saturday too!

QEST supports the training and education of talented and aspiring craftspeople across the UK through Scholarships, Emerging Maker Grants and Apprenticeships.
Craft audiences in Northern Ireland will be able to see the work of 17 QEST Alumni who are based in or from the island of Ireland, representing a range of crafts including glass, handloom weaving, luthierie, willow sculpture, wrought iron putter making and silversmithing. The exhibition will be on until 10/05/24.
