Mark Preston | Solo Exhibition | 18th April until 6th May
Mark has spent the last two and a half years making repeated trips to the West Cornwall coast, capturing its rugged beauty through his dedicated en plein air practice. Returning to the same shorelines across different seasons to capture the specific alchemy of West Cornwall’s light.
This exhibition is a visceral record of those journeys. From the granite heights of Zennor and Treen to the sweeping light of Mount’s Bay, he navigates the landscape across every season. His work captures the grand scale of clifftops and crashing seas alongside the quiet intimacy of wildflowers and hawthorn trees found along the paths to Prussia Cove and Nanjulian.
We invite you to walk these paths with him and experience the coast as he did: one brushstroke, one day, and one season at a time.
Runs until Wednesday 6th May
