ArtMakers is a north Devon arts initiative promoting the skills and creative talent of artists in the Districts of North Devon and Torridge.  We initially launched as an online gallery in 2021 following closure of live sales outlets during the pandemic.

ArtMakers now has 180 members and in spring 2023 we were offered a gallery space in Bideford and Art Upstairs was launched in July.  Since then we have hosted a wide ranging series of exhibitions and are about to celebrate completion of our first year with a charity event to support the Alzheimer's Society and 'Celebration - One Year On!

The visual arts community of north Devon is now recognised as the largest grouping of artists outside London and Cornwall!
