Located just opposite the British Museum, Contemporary Ceramics is London’s only gallery specialising exclusively in British studio ceramics (pottery that’s individually made by independent artists in the UK).
Run by the Craft Potters Association, Britain’s most prominent organisation for ceramic artists, this warm, light-filled gallery sells an ever-changing array of CPA members’ work and hosts monthly exhibitions by leading makers.
Available works include museum-quality pieces, everyday ceramics and everything in between – ceramic art, sculpture, tableware and other functional pottery. The works on display, created by both seasoned ceramists and proven emerging makers, reflect the true diversity of the art form.
