Established in 1967 as the first open access studio in Britain, Edinburgh Printmakers has made it possible for everyone, from professional artists to members of the public, to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty in their interactive studios.
Edinburgh Printmakers has transformed the former North British Rubber Company HQ – Castle Mills, into a vibrant new creative hub. We are placing art and creativity at the heart of Edinburgh’s Fountainbridge area, and a much-loved heritage building is once again serving the community who saved it from demolition.
With a gallery that is free to the public, open access print studio and exhibitions dedicated to selling prints at accessible prices, Edinburgh Printmakers has opened the door to creative facilities for everyone.
"The Edinburgh Printmakers shop is filled with a fantastic range of work from wild landscapes and bold portraits to intricate and surreal prints."
