The Art Shop & Chapel

The Art Shop & Chapel is housed in two separate venues just 2 mins apart in the centre of the market town of Abergavenny.

The Art Shop, a 16th century townhouse, holds regular exhibitions of Fine and Applied Arts upstairs in a domestic interior setting. Downstairs we stock a specialist selection of fine art materials and papers, books and magazines.

Further displays of paintings, jewellery, textiles and ceramics can be found at our other venue, a 19th century Victorian Chapel on Market Street, where we also host talks, concerts and workshops with artists, musicians and writers. The Chapel cafe and garden serves breakfast, lunch and all day food.
