Jo Quigley Solo Show – In The City

On Friday 16th July we’re launching a solo show of wonderful new work by Jo Quigley. There are 21 new canvases in the collection. Each is precisely painted and captures London scenes in crisp bright light. Most feature people at leisure in famous locations. Jo quietly observes the scene from a distance with the result that her subjects appear natural and unstaged. It’s easy to see how Jo cites the work of Pissarro, Hopper and Lowry as key influences. Every painting is elegantly framed in a deep edged tray frame for a thoroughly contemporary look.
