Tate Modern joins Own Art
Exciting news, Own Art is now available to use in Tate Modern’s new retail space.
Tate is delighted to announce the opening of a new shop at Tate Modern. Located in a newly-refurbished riverside location, Tate Edit presents a carefully chosen range of artists’ products, limited editions, design objects and items for the home.
Limited editions have been created exclusively for Tate by a diverse range of artists, including, Phyllida Barlow, Hew Locke, Cornelia Parker and Wolfgang Tillmans. The shop also offers visitors a chance to buy many of the objects and furniture used in the galleries, from the cork stools found in the Switch House concourses, to the tray tables used in the Members Bar, to the cutlery, glass and tableware found in the new Restaurant.
Tate is excited to offer Own Art with the aim of making ownership of art more affordable and enable a wider public to own and live with the art of our time. Tate Limited Editions support their exhibition and education programmes. Own Art is currently available exclusively at Tate Edit, Tate Modern with online purchases becoming available in the future.
