Blowfish Glass is thrilled to announce its action-packed, multi-venue programme celebrating Glassmaking as part of The International Festival of Glass. This will take place at their Stourbridge Gallery and Glassblowing Studio at The Redhouse Glass Cone from Friday, August 23rd, 2024, to Monday, August 26th, 2024. This exciting initiative, driven by a passionate community of makers, aims to ignite a love for glassmaking and extend its rich history in the region.


The weekend kicks off with the highly anticipated opening of the Fifteen x Fifteen Exhibition at 10 am on Friday, August 23rd. This unique showcase features the captivating work of 30 glass artists from around the globe, each presenting a stunning sculpture limited to a maximum of 15 cm x 15 cm x 15 cm format.

The programme also launches an exciting new range of functional glassware by some of the best UK Glass Artists. Explore the pop-up collection of exquisite jewellery, goblets, jugs, and other unique pieces crafted by talented Blowfish artists.

You can witness the exciting craft of glassblowing firsthand on Friday, the 23rd, and Saturday, the 24th Aug. Renowned glass artists will hold incredible demonstrations from 10:00 AM to 6:15 PM on both days. Seated Tickets are £10 per person and can be purchased online (link to be provided)

There's something for the whole family, with a ‘Blow your own Glass’ experience on Sunday, 25th August, under expert guidance, you can craft your unique piece of glass for a truly memorable experience. This workshop runs all day, with a participation fee of £35 per person.
